Schaumburg Township Hosts Low-Cost Rabies Vaccine and Microchip Clinics 9/27 & 9/28

Schaumburg Township is partnering with the Cook County Department of Animal and Rabies Control to provide low-cost rabies vaccines and microchips for dogs, cats and ferrets three months or older. 

Low-Cost Rabies Vaccine Clinic - Wednesday, September 27, 10:00 AM to 2:45 PM

The fee for dogs and cats is $7 for a 1-year rabies vaccine and $21 for a 3-year rabies vaccine. The fee for ferrets is $9 for a 1-year rabies vaccine. Payment is cash or check only; credit and debit cards will not be accepted.

Low-Cost Microchip Clinic Information - Thursday, September 28, 10:00 AM to 2:45 PM

The microchip and implantation fee is $10 per animal. National registration is $19.95 per animal for the life of the animal with no annual fees. Payment is cash or check only; credit and debit cards will not be accepted.


Both mobile clinic services will be offered on a first come, first serve basis. No appointment necessary. Pet owners must be Cook County residents and present a valid Driver’s License or State ID.
